Navigate to Floorplan
Open the GoCapture app
Log in with your Multivista account or tap Continue with SSO.
Select a project
Choose a project to open its floorplan dashboard.
Select a floorplan
Choose the floorplan for this capture session.
Connect to camera
Tap "Capture"
Tap Capture to see the available capture modes.
Tap "360 Photo" and Wi-Fi icon
Tap 360 Photo to select the capture mode.
Tap the Wi-Fi icon to connect to your Insta360 Wi-Fi network.
Read the message and tap "Open Settings"
Read the on-screen message, then tap Open Settings to go to your phone's settings.
Connect to Insta360 Wi-Fi network
Open your phone's Wi-Fi settings and make sure Wi-Fi is on.
Find and connect to your camera's network: [Camera model] [Last 6 digits of serial number]
Enter Insta360 Wi-Fi password
Find your password on the camera itself:
On your camera, swipe down from the top of the screen.
Tap the Settings icon (gear), then tap Wi-Fi Settings → Wi-Fi Info.
Enter the password shown on your camera screen.
📝 Settings icon placement may vary by camera model.
Capture 360 Photo
Set your capture location
Once connected, place yourself on the floorplan.
In the GoCapture app, tap 360 Photo.
Tap and drag the crosshair to your exact position on the floorplan.
Pinch the floorplan to zoom in or out, or use the magnifying glass icon.
⚠️ Use any visible reference point; doors, rooms, or windows to pinpoint your position accurately.
Set your view and capture
Hold the camera above your head, front lens pointing in the direction you're facing.
On the app, drag the field of view cone to match the direction of the front lens.
Tap capture button to take the photo.
📝 Once captured, a green marker will appear on the floorplan and the photo will transfer to the app automatically
Upload and review photo (Optional)
Upload
Photos upload automatically while the app is open and connected to the internet.
Review your capture
In the capture section, tap the thumbnail on the left side of the capture button to open your photo in the 360 viewer. From there, you can delete it if needed.
⚠️ Deleted photos are removed from the marker permanently and cannot be undone.
Review photo from the green marker
Once a photo is captured, a green marker will appear on the floorplan.
Tap a marker to view photo thumbnails, arranged from latest to earliest.
Tap a photo to open it in the 360 viewer. From there, you can delete it if needed.
