How to walk
- Hold the camera close to you and above your head using a selfie stick or helmet mount.
- Walk at a steady, moderate pace to ensure consistent data capture.
- Hold the camera in one hand and keep your arm steady to ensure an accurate path and high-quality images.
- When turning around in a small room or going around a corner, avoid pivoting. Instead, walk in a small arc to maintain smooth motion.
Asserting locations
- Ensure you accurately set the start and end locations of your walk to help with alignment and path accuracy.
- A recording must only cover one floorplan. To capture more than one level, record one video per level.
Video Length
- Keep videos to less than 10 minutes. For large areas, divide the space into smaller sections and record one video per section.
When to use
- Best used for interiors from framing through finishing. For site, slab and foundation use, we recommend capturing 360 photos instead.
Stay Alert
- Always follow site safety protocols and be aware of your surroundings while recording.
