360 Walk Best Practices
Ensure you accurately set the start and end locations of your walk to help with alignment and path accuracy.
Hold the camera close to you and above your head using a selfie stick or helmet mount.
Hold the camera in one hand and keep your arm steady to ensure an accurate path and high-quality images.
Walk at a steady, moderate pace to ensure consistent data capture.
Ensure the area is well-lit for optimal image quality.
A recording must only cover one floorplan. To capture more than one level, record one video per level.
When turning around in a small room or going around a corner, avoid pivoting. Instead, walk in a small arc to maintain smooth motion.
Keep videos to less than 5 minutes. For large areas, divide the space into smaller sections and record one video per section.
Best used for interiors from framing through finishing. For site, slab and foundation use, we recommend capturing 360 photos instead.
Always follow site safety protocols and be aware of your surroundings while recording.
